I know I really should dedicate more time to this blog, but with so many responsibilities, finding the time to cover such as vast topic is no easy task. I must admit, we have come along way since Benjamin Franklin was flying a kite that fateful day. With the ability to catch communications from invisible waves and surf the web using my Iphone vs. when I was a youth and having the old school rotary phones is quite a shock. To say that evolution of our species is occurring at an alarming rate is an understatement. However, I can’t say that I don’t enjoy the perks of being inundated by the latest gadgets and technology, but to imagine how more seasoned eyes see the world and think is this convenience, or a crutch? My parents were born way back before television and my mother still has trouble using a remote control.
It will be interesting to see just how fast technology evolves in our lifespan. The gradual conditioning however will work in our favor as acclimation will not be so abrupt. It will be interesting to see when we tap out and return to the simpler things in life, but until then it’s all about gadgets, toys and technology…
